Alternatively, you can become a Personal Safeguarder, donating $15 per month ($150 per year), which goes to the Save Forest program, which affords initiatives to minimize poaching of wildlife, illegal logging and land clearing in Indonesia. It also supplies rescue equipment, tracking devices, and enabling employment of rangers who watch over orangutans on the protected land. You might also be interestd in their Adopt-a-Tree program, which affords new plantation to offer housing and food for orangutans.
